Network Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer with strong expertise in Enterprise Networking, Voice, and Network Security technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Cisco-based network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewall, voice, NAC, and security solutions. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, secure connectivity, and optimized network performance across enterprise and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Network & Switching
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise switching environments using STP, VRRP, and HSRP
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and EIGRP
• Monitor and optimize network performance for high availability and reliability
Firewall & Security
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Firewalls
• Administer firewall objects, rules, and ACLs
• Manage Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC)
• Implement and monitor Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) – Cisco
• Support and analyze Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) – Sniper
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and policies
Voice & Collaboration
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise voice infrastructure
• Ensure high availability and quality for voice services
Network Access Control & Wireless
• Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Genian
• Support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
• Enforce access policies for wired and wireless environments
Network Services & Operations
• Manage and support DNS, proxy, gateways, and related network services
• Perform proactive monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business and manufacturing IT needs
• Maintain detailed documentation for network designs, configurations, and SOPs
Technical Skills Required
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Expertise in:
o CUCM (Cisco Voice Technology)
o Cisco Firewalls & FMC
o Cisco IPS
o IDS – Sniper
o NAC – Genian
o Cisco ISE & WLC
• Solid understanding of enterprise network security and traffic management
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or manufacturing environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / CCIE will be an added advantage
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or large corporate IT environments preferred
